I’ve never really encountered this problem until now. When I log into Wordpress, the dashboard loads ever so slowly. This also happens every single time I view my blog (while still logged in) and go back to the admin section.

After scouring for solutions on the Wordpress support forum, I only ended up with the following workaround:

Make sure you backup your files before editing

Comment out line 5 of your index.php file in the wp-admin directory.

Yup, that’s all there is to it. The workaround simply eliminates the RSS-feed from the Wordpress Development Blog. If anyone has found a solution to this dashboard problem, kindly let me know. Thanks.
