I’m always on the lookout for new products and/or plug-ins that will work with WordPress. I’m just getting so comfortable with using WordPress to build my sites. Currently, my WordPress Watchlist consists of 2 things: WordPress Master and WP-Shop.

WordPress Master is a new WP management tool that allows you to centrally create and manage all your blogs. Like other WP management tools that have come before it, WPMaster has a lot of themes and plugins for you to use. It also has a way to upload your articles and make them trickle in slowly, causing a ‘auto-pilot’ effect. The project is still in Beta, but you can sign-up for updates. I believe in the potential of this product because it’s from the owners of PLRPro.

WP-Shop is a WP plug-in that allows you to add a shopping cart option to your WordPress sites. It will have Paypal as one of its available payment gateways. Additionally, it will have a function to remove the ‘purchase’ capability from your visitors. This allows you to showcase products like an online catalog instead. The project is also in Beta and is tentatively scheduled to be released in January 2007.

I’m currently participating in the Beta testing for these items, and both of them are showing real promise. WPMaster will be a paid resource (either a one-time lumpsum or a low monthly fee), while the plug-in will be free. Additionally, the maker of WPShop also has a WP-CRM plugin project in the works. If any of these items interest you, go and check ‘em out.
