I’ve gone through 6 of the available 10 free Site Monetization videos from JP Schoeffel. The traffic generation approach he uses and shows is through the use of social networking and blogging.

Definitely another school of thought when compared to the teachings found in “The Plan” and or “The Master Plan”, wherein it discusses the importance of directory submissions and article marketing. The last 4 videos don’t have titles yet, so perhaps he’ll go into this later on. In the meantime, the videos show his actual traffic and earnings within the first 2 to 3 days.

The methods that he teaches makes use of the products he sells. In my opinion, this is just fair and most certainly acceptable in the world of Internet Marketing. A viral marketing tool if you will. To be honest though, JP’s got some good stuff. His Niches-in-a-box offer is a “monthly expansion” of what he usually offers in his Firesale offerings. The big difference being that the niches offered are closely related to one another for better inter-linking between sites.

The rest focuses on the fundamentals such as analyzing your web traffic and the keywords related to your site. The MySpace marketing section wasn’t all that great though. I guess I was expecting much more. However, overall, the videos serve as very good overview of the entire site building process. Hey, it’s free*… why complain? (* you gotta leave an email address)
