It’s finally out. Jonathan Leger’s Instant Article Wizard Pro (IAW Pro) is here, just weeks after the basic version was released. It’s got all the bells and whistles with even more features to come. However, if you already purchased the basic version not too long ago and it’s working just fine, is it really necessary to upgrade to the pro version?
Let’s take a look at what IAW Pro has to offer and its differences to the basic version that is IAW. First, IAW Pro is now a server-side application. This means, unlike IAW, you don’t install it on your computer. Is that good or bad? Well, that depends on how you look at it. However, it’s important to note that IAW Pro resides on its own server, not yours. That’s why the fee is yearly (I know… we’ll get to pricing later).
Other than the recurring pricing structure, keeping IAW Pro on their server allows them to control the access to the 250,000+ article database (currently growing). This is the reason why IAW Pro works faster than IAW. The basic version performs an open search of sorts on the internet for the keywords in question. So comparing both search methods, it’s only natural that the one searching thousands will finish first than the one searching millions.
Not only that, but IAW Pro is searching in only one place — the article database. IAW basic goes through hundreds if not thousands of sites (possibly millions). I don’t know the actual algorithm that either version uses, so this is merely speculation (yet a logical one at that). At the time of this writing, I don’t know if IAW Pro has a feature to allow the user to broaden the scope of the search. This is important since your research is tied to information residing in the article database. If it’s not there, it’s simply not there.
The nice feature that IAW Pro has that IAW basic doesn’t is the ‘context link’. Each snippet of information has a link that allows the user to show the article from which the snippet was pulled. This allows you to further understand the context in which the snippet was used. Having used IAW before, this is a good step forward (although not something you can’t live without).
Finally, the pricing structure. It’s gone from a low one-shot fee of $67 to an astounding yearly fee of $197. Now, keep in mind that IAW basic launched just at the beginning of this month. Additionally, if you purchased the basic version, you don’t get a free upgrade. Not even for the first year. Instead, due to the disappointment of some IAW owners (see the IAW Pro blog), Jonathan decided to provide a one-time lifetime upgrade to IAW Pro.
At the time of the announcement, it seemed to have appeased most of the crowd. I even thought that it was fair, since the new version will require Jonathan to host the IAW Pro on his own dedicated server and pay for monthly bandwidth costs. Understandable I guess. However, upon reading the launch notice and the “special” upgrade price of $97, I was surprised and a tad bit disappointed.
The original version, which still works by the way, was only $67. Granted, the one-shot fee of $97 gave us a $100 off the yearly fee and the bonus of not having to pay again for subsequent years. Definitely more than just giving $67 off the retail price. If you count it that way, then I can see how it would look like a good deal. However, the reality of it is actually paying a total of $164 instead and chucking the basic version in the garbage. In effect, this only nets existing customers a $33 discount on the full price. The fact of the matter is that you’re really paying for the lifetime option at a discounted rate.
Finally, the “special” customer upgrade is only available until Monday, December 4. So much for those folks who left for a long weekend. What’s with the countdown?!? We’re supposed to be existing customers. Doesn’t this upgrade pricing structure make the whole thing like any other pre-launch? “A $33 discount on the lifetime deal. After December 4, the doors close and the fee becomes yearly.” Sounds like one to me. Not only that, but the only time one can get this deal is to “pre-pay” $67 for a desktop version to try out for a while until the pro version is complete.
I don’t want to sound too pessimistic, but it just doesn’t add up to me. At least, not at this point. I’m sure that Jonathan’s got a great product here, but I’m really hesitant on this upgrade.
There are probably some that will make this upgrade in a heartbeat and enjoy the wonders of the pro version, but I’m happy with the existing version. I even found a new way of using it on articles I don’t intend on submitting. I take some of the snippets and insert them in existing PLR content. This currently works for me. The upgrade doesn’t.
EDIT: If you have BANS, I suggest you take a look at a different tool instead. It’s called Niche Store Writer. Read my in-depth review here.

Hi there! I am totally agree with you in regard to the IAW pro version pricing structure.
I bought the IAW 2 days ago and now there is a Pro version of IAW. I don’t think I will upgrade to the pro version as it is too soon for me to pay for $97 on the same product that I haven’t actually try it out in depth.
The Keyword Elite and SEO Elite softwares from Brad Callen are both free for lifetime upgrade. Unfortunately it is not the case for IAW pro:(-
November 30th, 2006 at 6:32 pm
Hi Ray. Ya, I just couldn’t see myself dishing out $97 for the upgrade when I have a sufficiently working product. Keep using IAW and you’ll see that it’s enough for your article writing needs.
November 30th, 2006 at 6:59 pm
Hi Mike,
I appreciate your honest review of my product, even if I disagree with your conclusions. And you’re right, A LOT of people are jumping on the $97 upgrade offer, are finding it fair, and are writing in dozens of fantastic testimonials about how great they feel the system is.
It’s one of those things where if you just don’t get it and use it, you’re not going to appreciate the power of IAW Pro over IAW. Those who have taken the leap have not been disappointed.
As for Keyword Elite and SEO Elite, those have never gone from a desktop app to a server app that costs their owners money every month. If they ever needed to make that change–like I did–they wouldn’t do it for free. If they did, they’d lose money every month instead of making it.
Thanks again.
Jon

Hi Jon,
Yes, I agree that apps like Keyword Elite and SEO Elite are desktop apps and can’t be compared to IAW Pro because it’s a server-based app that have different associated costs.
I understand that you are being fair in even providing an upgrade path, as I mentioned in my previous post when I first learned about the pro version.
No doubt that it’s a great product. Perhaps it was just the timing. I think the key point that will drive the upgrade to IAW Pro are the added features and new ones that I’m sure that you’ll be adding along the way. One of which is the ’spinner’ function that others have been asking to be included.
One feature that I would’ve liked to have seen is the option to define or select what and/or where IAW Pro can search. Thereby allowing me to specify my own sites or if I had my own article directory. Something to that effect.
Is anything like this remotely being planned? It would also be nice if the deadline wasn’t around the corner. I understand that it’s a marketing thing, but a little leeway could go a long way. Doing so may give way for the announcements of more features that could possibly sway some folks (including me)
In the end, I had to make up my mind because I only have until Dec. 4. This was simply a personal preference because I still believe in what the basic IAW version can do and how it fits my own needs.
Thanks for dropping by.

Hi Mike. I just wanted to add to this thread. By being part of Jonathan’s mailing list, you automatically get a discount on IAW Pro…. just a one-time fee of $127. No yearly payments.
It is interesting since not everyone on that mailing list bought the original IAW but are entitled to a discount.
So check it out… if person A bought IAW for $67 then upgraded to IAW Pro for $97, that totals $164. If person B bought only IAW Pro, that totals $127. LOL.
Now, person B is awarded by being on the mailing list while person A gets the short end of the stick. Wasn’t person A the existing and loyal customer here?!?
December 1st, 2006 at 11:52 am
Hey Vince,
I just recently saw that email too. You’re absolutely right. I didn’t even click on the discount link until I read your comment.
For those still interested, it seems that the cheapest route would be to return IAW for a refund and then purchase the pro version at the mailing list member discounted price.
What an interesting turn of events.
Cheers!

Hi all,
I just wanted to share an email I received regarding IAW and IAW Pro. I emailed the sender and received consent to share this bit of information:
… you can download Instant Article Wizard for free on page 9 of the Viral Marketing Giveaway (viralmarketinggiveaway3.com/vmg3). All you need to give an email address. My friend who told me this got a email from Jonathan Leger to upgrade to the PRO version for only 97 bucks. She didn\’t upgrade but 97 is way less than the 127 given to mailing list members or the 164 given to peeps who bought the basic version.
Thanks for the email. I recently verified the information by signing up at VMG. It\’s disappointing to know that IAW is available for free when I paid good money for it. This whole issue seems to be spiraling out of control. I also read the recent comments on your blog (instantarticlewizardpro.com/blog/preview-video), and it seems that someone else has already commented about this free version.
Jon, if you\’re reading this, I hope that you will find a way to address the situation and keep your paying customers happy.
December 3rd, 2006 at 9:39 pm
Hi,
I understood that there was also a monthly membership fee to be included in the price of Instant Article Wizard Pro, which certainly made the new version very expensive, compared to the old version.
I bought the old version, but found it unsatisfactory, I have since bought the update and found it to be a great product.
I was one of the moaners about the new price, however, Jonathan gave the moaners a great deal I thought, which was the just the price of the new program, without the addition of the cost of monthly membership.
I was a mite cheesed off about paying $83AUS for a product I had only just bought a couple of weeks before the new one was released, but the new deal kinda took the sting out a bit.
December 3rd, 2006 at 10:27 pm
hi mike. wanna let you know the iaw thank you page from vmg3 no longer work but my friend sent me the download link he got last friday. i left my email anyways.

Hi all!
What the hell is going on out there? About a week ago I bought the IAW for US67, but there are some folks out there have already got it for free…????!!!!
Are we a carrot or donkey?
By the way, few days ago (on 31 Nov), I bought the Website Content Wizard for US137. Is anybody really think that I still need to upgrade my basic IAW to the Pro version?
Please make some comments…many thanks:)
Regards,
Ray

Hi Colleen. Ya, the news of a special deal (prior to the launch) was great. However, I didn’t expect for things to become like it is now. People don’t like feeling cheated. And that’s exactly what these different deals are doing.
At this point, I think that it would be nice if all paying IAW customers get an automatic refund or a free upgrade to IAW Pro. How else can all these angry folks be kept happy and loyal customers?
If you read the recent comments on the IAW Pro blog, even one of the people whose testimonial is on the sales page has voiced concern on this issue.
December 4th, 2006 at 10:47 am
Hi Warren. Thanks for the update. I figured that the free access wouldn’t last when news started getting out. It was only a matter of time. Regardless, the damage has been done.
December 4th, 2006 at 10:55 am
Hi Ray. Ya, it’s really upsetting that some folks got IAW for free when we paid $67 for it. I think it’s a great tool when used properly, but IMHO I don’t think it’s worth upgrading to the Pro version for another $97. If you can upgrade for $15-20, then maybe. Right now, what’s getting to me is the principle behind these different prices.
As for WCW, it’s a great tool. Version 2 has some great and welcomed new features. Support is sketchy on some days, but David responds really well to the needs of his customers.
December 4th, 2006 at 11:43 am
I have a feeling of being scamed .
I bought the first issue, thought it was about $30.00 over priced but I bought it, then two or three weeks latter I get a email about the upgrade. He could of just come out with the pro first or offered both versions.
That took me from thinking I had over paid to feeling scamed.
It was his choice/method to maximize his profits which took me from feeling I paid to much and disappointed to feeling cheated.
December 4th, 2006 at 1:18 pm
Hi Jim. I totally understand as I’m in the same boat as you. The upgrade price was a bit fair. However, all these different offerings have really made me feel cheated (especially the free giveaway less than month since the launch).
There hasn’t been any updates on this issue via the mailing list or IAW Pro blog, except for the free gift (InstantLinkPoster) given to IAW customers. However, the ones who got IAW for free also got this “bonus”. So technically, nothing has been addressed with regards to the issue raised by paying IAW customers.
December 4th, 2006 at 2:07 pm
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your comment. So I will stick to my gun and feeding articles being created from basic IAW into the WCW for creating ultra-unique articles.
At first I was interested in a few other softwares from J.Leger, but now I won’t buy anything from him at least until the FREE vs. PAID IAW issue is solved. Basically I afraid the same situation will happen again.
By the way are you guys going to request for a refund or what?
One more thing…any recommendation on link cloaking software/method? I have found some free stuffs (server-side scripts) but don’t know if they are good enough.
Regards,
Ray

Hi Ray. Ya, IAW basic can output content that gives me enough ideas to write my own article. And yes, WCW can spin them nicely once you have all the groundwork laid out.
With regards to the pricing issue, I’d rather get a free upgrade to Pro than get a refund for IAW. I’m going to give it more time and see what happens.
As for link cloaking, there are a number of methods. I usually just use a .htaccess redirect. If you’re using WordPress, try the WP Affiliate Pro plugin. A free alternative (but with less features) is the aLinks plugin.
December 5th, 2006 at 4:01 pm
Hi Mike,
It says on the IAW Pro blog that the free version from VMG was illegal and not sanctioned by Jonathan. Too late the hero.
I got my copy through VMG!
December 5th, 2006 at 8:44 pm
Mike,
Thank you for your infomation about link cloaking. Yes…I think it is a good idea just to wait and see.
By the way, I don’t think Jonathan can do anything to stop people from keep on using the illegal version of basic IAW.
P/s: Vince u are…..lucky:)
Ray
December 6th, 2006 at 1:50 am
Those VMG copies were illegal and unsanctioned. I put an end to it as soon as I found out about it.
I did NOT tell anyone it was okay to put my software up for free.
Just an FYI, since people were upset because they thought I was giving it away for free–I most certainly was not.
December 6th, 2006 at 1:11 pm
Hi Ray. Yes, unfortunately not. I’m glad that you found the link cloaking information useful.
December 6th, 2006 at 1:22 pm
Hi Jon. That’s a terrible thing for the operators of VMG to do. I hope that you’re pursuing some sort of legal action against them.
With that said, some of your existing IAW customers still feel slighted by this issue as well as the other pricing issue involving your mailing list. Will you be addressing this issue anytime soon?
December 7th, 2006 at 6:47 pm
Hi, Mike
What would you be doing if you are in the same situation as Jon?
December 8th, 2006 at 12:23 am
Hi Ray. Only Jon has the ultimate decision with what to do with his business. However, since he’s already seen success with his other products like Adsense Gold and Translation Gold, I’m sure that a little treat for his existing paying customers shouldn’t hurt that much. I for one would go the customer satisfaction route. But that’s just me. Basically it’s for the long term.
First, since the VMG download was illegal, there must be a way to cross-check the IAW Pro members with the paying IAW members to see if all of them had indeed paid for IAW. This will ensure that no one has access to Pro for only $97.
Next, since the mailing list offer was cheaper at $127 compared to the combined payment of IAW and IAW Pro upgrade at $164, people feel a bit cheated. I think this is mostly due to timing and possibly the way it was launched.
Remember, IAW and IAW Pro launched less than a month of each other. If Pro had arrived a year later, no one would be complaining.
If I was in a similar situation with my own product, I would offer a cheaper upgrade route to those who paid for IAW (making their total below $127). This way, I’ll be making money instead of giving it back to disappointed customers who may not buy something from me again.
Anyway, what’s done is done.
December 9th, 2006 at 8:57 pm
Hi Mike,
Yes…customer satisfaction is the key for repeated sales. If hundreds of people posted their comments about this issue on various forum sites, then for sure many existing & potential customers may not buy something from the vendor again in the future.
Anyway there are plenty of alternative out there:)

December 11th, 2006 at 11:36 am
Hi Ray. I did my part and posted the issue on Jon’s blog, and so have other folks. However, it seems that nothing else will be done to further address the issue. I’m interested to see the public’s reaction to his next product. I wonder how many will be automatically turned-off because of their experience with this offering?!
December 11th, 2006 at 10:26 pm
Hi Mike,
It seems that the IAW Pro Blog is closed for leaving comments. I wanted to voice my displeasure, but it seems to be shut down.
This is no way to run a business and he knows it. No one likes to be taken, especially from someone you thought more highly of. The day comes when you reap what you sow. Very disappointing to say the least, but it is his decision alone.
Thanks
December 12th, 2006 at 12:13 am
Hi Terry. The comments on the IAW Pro Blog (www.instantarticlewizardpro.com/blog/preview-video/) are still open. I just left another comment, asking for an update.
I don\’t know what Jon will do at this point. I do hope that the issue is properly handled other than by letting time pass by.
Cheers!
December 12th, 2006 at 9:35 am
Hi Mike,
I just seen your comment on the blog. After reading through some of the others I think the bigger issue for most people (after the money fiasco) is the need to completely rewrite the entire article.
Since the system uses 1-2 sentences from every article it finds for your topics to make up the new article, you’ll have to completely rewrite it, not just touch it up here and there, in order to avoid plagiarism issues. As it was mentioned in the blog, when you run the article through Copyscape it will show up as not being original. You can have your website shut down for it. So this is not a quick fix for making articles for your sites. It will take time to make up an article and then sit down and completely rewrite it.
Is this how you see it, or is this not a concern? Perhaps you could get away with it on your website, but not sending it in to article directories.
Thanks
December 12th, 2006 at 10:04 am
Hi Terry. Yes, plagiarism is definitely an issue. But it all depends on how one uses the tool. That is why there is a disclaimer. It’s the same as selling a kitchen knife. It was meant to be used as a cutting tool, not as a weapon. People have to exercise their own moral and ethical restraints and avoid mis-using the tool.
For article creation, simple touch ups here and there is not enough to make the article your own. An entire rewrite is definitely needed. If they bought the tool thinking otherwise, then perhaps that’s why they’re angry. Articles that are not owned by you must not be published on one’s site or be sent to article directories.
The way I use IAW is to generate ideas for a given keyword. These tidbits of information show me the proper insights on a topic that I’m writing about. It gives me related content that I can rewrite and add to PLR articles.
Cheers!
December 12th, 2006 at 8:22 pm
Hi Mike,
What do you think about Website Content Wizard? Can the software be better than the IAW for producing unique articles?
Regards
December 12th, 2006 at 11:50 pm
Hi Mike
Yes, I think that’s another part of the problem. People think that you can just spit out an article and post it up when it just isn’t that way. For the average person who doesn’t do a lot of writing I think you’re looking at taking 5-10 minutes to get your article done by IAW pro, then another 20-40 minutes on a complete rewrite. I believe that is realistic.
Another important aspect is the fact that it only contains 250K articles. While that may seem like a lot, it’s a drop in the bucket. You could easily have a niche that has little to no content available. I believe that is mentioned, but I think this is where a one day trial would helpful. Allow people to use it for one day, even for a nominal fee of a couple of dollars. That way you could see what it will do for them and their own websites.
December 13th, 2006 at 10:48 am
Hi Ray. I recently picked up WCW through a killer discount provided by PLRPro to its members. It’s a good tool with a lot of potential. The new features introduced with the new version makes it all the more powerful. The key is in the use of blocks. The new version allows you to import articles, which you can then cut up for use in the blocks feature. I’m only beginning to use it, so I don’t have a review just yet.
The primary reason I got WCW is because I wanted to rewrite some of my older PLR articles. The important thing to know about WCW is that it becomes better and better the more you use it. There’s prep work to be done prior to working with articles and I think this is what other people give up on. People watch the video and don’t really understand all the work that was done to set that up.
IAW and WCW have different purposes, so I can’t really compare them. Is WCW useful? Sure. Basically, you can post an article on your site and then put that same article through WCW to generate multiple versions for multiple article directory submissions.
I hope that helps.
December 13th, 2006 at 10:53 am
Hi Terry. I totally agree with your sentiments. Basically, people should know that there’s work involved. There’s no miracle tool.
As for the trial or limited use packages, this would definitely have been helpful. But as you mentioned, 250k articles is not enough. There are niches that are so narrow, that I’m sure IAW Pro will have a difficult time producing useful results.
For now, I’ll stick with the generated ideas i get from IAW and write my own unique articles.
December 14th, 2006 at 6:49 pm
Hi, Mike,
Thank you for your advice and I think that you are right about the benefits of WCW (the latest version) in writing an article but of different versions:)
Have a nice day!
Ray
January 6th, 2007 at 1:59 am
You raise some interesting points most of which i agree with,i bought the first Instant Article Wizard and upgraded because it would do a specific job for me and am happy with it.
However i would still like to use the one feature in version one but since i upgraded that version has gone.
Is there an argument here that i have paid for two differant products and should have two differant products.
As it stands i only have one Instant A rticle Wizard Pro which i am happy with like i said but would like the original for that one feature.
Going back to the way it was marketed im afraid that is a growing trend probably taught by one of the so called gurus ovepriced courses
I am sure that Jonathens latest product will not sell as well as I A W PRO BECAUSE MANY PROPLE were upset by this pricing struture.
January 8th, 2007 at 9:14 am
[…] EDIT: There’s a Pro version that’s been released. Read this IAW Pro review before even thinking of purchasing either version of IAW. […]
January 8th, 2007 at 9:18 am
Hi Robert. You definitely have a valid argument. Since you paid for both IAW and IAW Pro, you should have two separate products.
I recently checked out Jon’s blog where all the comments were posted. No response from Jon has been posted recently. However, his emails to his mailing list sure is active. I really wonder how his next product will fair because of this pricing debacle.
January 8th, 2007 at 9:56 am
I like some of you purchased the original version of IAW for $67.00. In less than a week I received a promotion email for the UPGRADE at the $197.00 price. Maybe it was the timing that didn’t set well with me. But, I believe the Pro version was available for launch at the same time as the original.I have purchased several of Jon’s products in the past, but even with the so called discounts , this just doesn’t cut it with me. I will not be purchasing any more software from Jonathan.
January 8th, 2007 at 10:07 am
Hi Wayne. Yep, it was definitely the timing. IAW Pro was launched less than a month from when IAW was launched. The pricing structure was also totally screwed up, as explained here. Then there’s the “free” version that was made available (illegally according to Jonathan). The point here is that the damage is done. As a result, a lot of folks won’t be returning customers.
It’s funny how the first testimonial on the IAW Pro site is the same person who posted last on the IAW Pro blog, complaining about the issue. As of this writing, still no word from Jonathan.
January 8th, 2007 at 3:26 pm
Jonathan would need help from marketing expert(s) in his next product launch that otherwise as mike said, ‘a lot of folks won’t be returning customers’

I’m not sure where you guys are getting all of these ideas from — IAW 2.0 is selling like hotcakes because of its abilities as a research tool.
I’m afraid all of the speculation about how many customers won’t be returning is also wrong. It was a free upgrade to 1.0 users, and I’ve gotten nothing but rave reviews about it.
As for new customers, they’re flooding in. The sales letter converts at 15%, and if you want to read all of the great things people are saying about it, go to this Warrior Forum thread.

I attempted to purchase IAW about a week ago. After the purchase went through it was supposed to direct me to the site where I could then download the product. But for some reason the connection timed out and I couldn’t download.
Since then I emailed Jon and put in 2 tickets at the support site. No response.
I’m now going to call my bank and dispute the charge. I know the error wasn’t intentional and it could have even been on my end. But, a week with no response?
Too bad, I was really looking forward to using the software.

Hi, Ben:
Hope your problem will be solved over the next few days. Instant Article Wizard 2.0 sounds good, but I don’t know much about it as I haven’t buy it yet.
Anyway, IAW 1.0 is good enough for me:)
P/s: Thanks Jon…I was at WarriorForum.

I hope that you were able to resolve your problem — either by getting a support response or getting your money back.

If you purchased version 1.0, then version 2.0 is free for you (per Jon’s comment above). If you still don’t have the new version, then contact their support and grab your free upgrade!
Cheers,
Mike
June 25th, 2007 at 8:37 am
Jon,
This particular post is intended for IAW Pro, not IAW 2.0. In all fairness, your latest offering of version 2.0 seems very good. I haven’t thoroughly reviewed it, but I have used it here and there. I’ll write up a new review when I get a chance.
Your original IAW 1.0 customers were simply ticked off with the pricing structure involving the transition from IAW 1.0 to IAW Pro, as well as the illegal version debacle. Some of them said they wouldn’t return (per comments on your own blog).
In any case, the free upgrade given to existing IAW 1.0 customers was definitely a good move and a welcome one at that. This redeems you a bit in my book. Thanks.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi, Mike:
Thank you. I have just downloaded the IAW v.2.0 as a free upgrade to my IAW v.1.0.
Thank you for the information.
I will give it a try to see what is the difference between IAW v.1.0 and v2.0
Regards,
Ray (Belfast)

I am going to buy IAW 2.0 for $67 because I can’t really find a reason good enough to get the yearly payment version rather than getting the cheaper version, which seems to do the job pretty good too. I am looking forward to getting this product.

I got a challenge from a website owner as to whether using the program, IAW original, was copyright infringement if you only take one or two sentances.
I went to lawguru.com and got this question answered:
If you take a one or two sentences from say about 50 website pages and incorporate them into a new article is that copyright infringement?
What if you change the wording of those sentances but keep the meaning?

Re: Copyright law for sentences
Taking the ideas contained in the sentences is permissible, copyright law protects only the particular original expression of the ideas.
Also, if the amount you’re copying from other sources is ‘de minimus’ (of minimal significance), you’re probably on safe ground.
This kind of thing can be very fact specific, so re-wording is your best bet

I will never use this software. I’ve checked the article that generate from this software with copyscape.com and the result wasn’t so good.
Try it for yourselves.

Well it’s been about a year !
I have just upgraded to version 2 of Instant Article Wizard, I really had to dig for the receipt but after two days from start to finish I got the upgrade, and I am impressed by all the new features and was not charged for upgrade.
I will even take sales pitches for awhile,
If you didn’t have it I would say it is almost worth the price now, it will definitely make life easier,
if you make sites

I bought IAW a week ago. The software failed to run. I submitted a support ticket at http://www.askjonleger.com/. And nobody reply to my problems yet(It’s been a week!).
I think the staffs there are not much taking good care of their customers.
I really want to use this software, so I didn’t ask for refund. I love the software, but they have to take better care of their customers.
If you thinking about buying anything from Jonathan Leger be aware that if any problems happen you may not get any help soon.

I just bought the software and tried to run it today. The software does not run as is. It requireds that I have an upgraded level of .Net Framework. My laptop is XP and 2 years old so it is relatively new. I submitted a support ticket this morning with a high priority. I will post when I receive an answer and you can judge for yourself the level of support for this product.

Thanks for the heads up on the PRO version, Vince. I still just use Instant Article Wizard 2 (the desktop version). It still gets the job done.

Hi all
It me again. Jon make me feel so stupid that for paying $7 and cannot even let me login to use the program.
The problem cant solved and no refund made.
I have nothing with Jon himself, but since it a monthly subsciption service, I deserve to have use of the software until end of the current month….
But it seems that Jon have pull out my user name and password from his server or database, which now I cant even try to login.
How I know? Cause there is afunction for me to request for password if I forgotten it. Now when I request for it, no password was sent to my email address……
Sent tickets but not seem to response….
Been a terrible experience dealing with this kind of services.
Overall rating for product and service 0/10

Vince,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I never got Instant Article Wizard Pro because I’m not a fan of recurring charges. Besides, the regular desktop version still works for me.
How is the monthly payment set up? If it’s through paypal, just cancel the subscription from within your paypal account. I would keep emailing their support and referencing your support ticket #. I hope you get your money back.

Hi there,
Wow… ! My 1st post about IAW in this forum was in November 30th, 2006 at 3:54 pm.
Yet, IAW customer support is still as ‘bad’ as before (i.e. see post 75).
GOD bless IAW Pro2.0, but I will not get my toe on it in any way… well proably untill the help desk support is up to the standard.
Ray

Well, I’ve read everything here and much elsewhere and I would strongly suggest that anyone even THINKING about using this type of program go search on copyright!
Even Mr Leger warns you and actually mentions http://copyscape.com which is pretty loose, but on just a few of my tests gave me enough for legal action against two of the three plagiarists found.
I believe that the main reason it has not been a big legal (costly) issue is simply that it is really a round-robin world out in the Cyberbog. Almost nothing is original!
Almost none of it is taken seriously in the real world.

Just a quick reminder folks. If you are using either Instant Article Wizard or IAW Pro, you HAVE to rewrite your stuff. Use it only for research and you should be ok.
For those of you looking to buy tools to help your online business. I highly suggest looking into BANS followed later by Niche Store Writer.
